Label and Bottle design... 'One in a million' concept?

The unique quality of Icelandic Glacial water is reflected in our multi award-winning unique label and packaging design.

Our 3D square panel bottles are structurally unique and have been designed to stand out on shelf and at the same time, minimize space requirements for retailers. The neck of the bottle is designed with 4 subtly different profiles, to give a fractured ice effect which can be seen when turning the bottle.

The random application of 4 different labels, which are based on the profile of Vatnajökull glacier, along with the 4 different bottle neck profiles allows for 16 unique variations. The resultant likelihood of having 6 identical bottles in a row is 1,000,000: 1

We use only the highest quality materials available to produce our fully recyclable bottles which means the taste remains unaltered from the day the water was bottled.

Water Compostion – Typical analysis

Icelandic Glacial is bottled at the source from the legendary Ölfus Spring, to provide our customers around the world with a product of the very highest quality and exceptional purity, boasting a Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) level of under 68 ppm.

Dissolved Solids or minerals affect the taste and balance of a individual water and the ideal level is considered to be anywhere between 50 - 120 parts per million.

Certain elements such as Calcium adversely affect the taste of water and can also result in undesirable physical effects. When water is boiled or frozen the calcium is precipitated out and causes scaling in kettles or the flecking of ice cubes.

By comparison - ice cubes made from Icelandic Glacial are crystal clear and kettles don't fur up either when using our water.

The PH level of Icelandic Glacial is 7.75 which closely matches the PH of our blood and internal organs.

You can be sure that the first time this water comes into contact with open air is when you break the seal on your bottle and nothing is ever added in or taken out.
