Paul Gray: Chief Finance Officer
Icelandic Water Holdings, ehf. Chief Finance Officer Paul Gray oversees the international finance function of the growing company and brings more than 25 years of diverse experience gained from industry, corporate finance, corporate banking and general professional practice.
His longstanding experience in operational and financial management, along with his work in acquisitions and turnaround situations, has proven critical to Icelandic Glacial as the company continues to move through a period of tremendous growth and increased worldwide distribution.
In his role with Icelandic Glacial, Gray oversees the corporate finance function, including production of accounts, cash management and forecasts. He played a key leadership role in preparing Icelandic Glacial’s business plan and in raising the financing to fuel the company’s impressive growth. Gray also is involved in various commercial matters including detailed negotiations related to contract development with outside vendors. He has been part of team that negotiated and concluded the distribution deal with Anheuser-Busch.
Gray is an experienced Chartered Accountant, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Prior to joining Icelandic Glacial, he was a Director of Corporate Finance at Vantis Numerica Corporate Finance, one of the major national UK accounting firms where he was primarily responsible listing companies on the AIM and London Stock Exchange. In this role, he also oversaw acquisitions, investigations, due diligence and fundraising activities. He has also served as CFO of a national firm in the construction sector and has worked in corporate leveraged debt finance at a leading UK bank.
Prior to training as a Chartered Accountant, Gray attended Southampton University where he earned his BSc with combined honors in Chemistry and Computing.
